Before joining Allianz, Shirley worked as an Account & Admin Officer while also serving as a part-time insurance agent. In 2005, when her company relocated its operations to China, they offered her a good package to continue her employment there. At a crossroads, she had to choose between staying with the company or becoming a full-time insurance agent.
