Before joining Allianz, Jackson worked as an engineer in a factory. He graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) but faced annual salary increments of only RM50 to RM150. Inspired by his parents’ lifestyle, despite their education being limited to MCE/SPM, he realised that his salary would never allow him to match their success, prompting him to quit his job.
