- The Allianz Windscreen Replacement On-the-Go service will be available in major cities nationwide beginning 1 May 2022.
- Launched in the Klang Valley in June 2020 by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General), the service offers Allianz Motor Private Car Comprehensive policyholders with windscreen cover on-location repair service for cracked or damaged windscreens. The cashless service, which comes with genuine glass replacements and a lifetime warranty, will now be available to policyholders in Johor Bahru, Melaka, Seremban, Ipoh, Penang, Alor Setar, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching.
- To use the service, customers can call 1800-22-5542 to set up an appointment, and Allianz General will despatch its Allianz-branded on-the-go service cars to the customer’s location within the hour. The service does not require filling out forms, thus eliminating long wait-time and tedious processes.
- Allianz General Chief Claims Officer Damian Williams said: “This service is the epitome of putting our customers first, and we are genuinely excited to be able to extend this service to major cities nationwide. Now with a total of 34 Allianz-branded on-the-go service cars, our customers can be assured of quick solutions when they need them.
- “At the same time, sometimes freak accidents can happen. So, it is best to remember that if your windscreen gets completely shattered while you are driving. Always try to remain calm and pull slowly to the side of the road and call for help,” added Damian.
- Allianz General customers can call 1800-22-5542 for the Allianz Windscreen Replacement On-the-Go service, available from Monday to Saturday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. Terms and conditions apply.
