Allianz Malaysia volunteers collected over a tonne of trash for World Cleanup Day 2024

Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Malaysia) is proud to announce the successful participation of its employee nationwide in the World Cleanup Day 2024, a global movement that aims to clean up the environment and raise awareness of pollution, throughout September.
A total of 228 employees rolled up their sleeves and cleaned up 17 locations across Malaysia including the compound of two social organisations, Pertubuhan Keluarga Orang-Orang Bermasalah Pembelajaran (PERKOBP) and Silent Teddies. A total of 989 employees volunteering hours were contributed to this good cause and a substantial 1,054 kg of waste was removed from parks, beaches, rivers and other community spaces.
Head of Allianz4Good, Ng Siew Gek said, “It is truly inspiring to see our colleagues coming together to support such an importance cause. Their participation in the World Cleanup Day not only demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability but also exemplifies our Company's values. We are incredibly thankful to our volunteers for their enthusiasm and hard work in making a difference.’’
