A total of 40 members of the local media turned up for Allianz Malaysia's annual Golf with Media 2017 event at TPC Kuala Lumpur on 24 August 2017. The senior editorial members from New Straits Times, Berita Harian, Harian Metro,The Star, Malay Mail, Utusan Malaysia, Sinar Harian, Malaysian Reserve, Bernama, Karangkraf, Business Today, The Sun, Focus Malaysia, Smart Investor, RTM, , Astro Arena, Kosmo and BFM, were grouped into 11 flights together with Allianz’s senior management officials with the first teed-off at 7.30am. After 18-holes, the top finishers were Alias Abd Rani of Harian Metro (with a score of 46), Borhan Abu Samahof Utusan Malaysia (with a score of 45) and Aziz Hassan of News Straits Times (with a score of 44) to take home trophies and a Taylor made M2 driver,  Rescue M2 and Golf bag respectively  Also walking away with prizes were Zaini Salihin  of Harian Metro who hit “nearest to pin”, Muhammad Radzi of The Sun who was “nearest to line” and Aziz Hassan of News Straits Times who had the “longest drive”.
