E-Invoicing implementation of Allianz Malaysia with effect from 1 August 2024

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) has released a press statement on 26 July 2024, granting a six-month interim relaxation period in respect of the mandatory e-invoicing implementation which was to commence from 1 August 2024 onwards for Phase 1 taxpayers.

During this interim period, Allianz Malaysia will be issuing consolidated e-invoices, including self-billed e-invoice w.e.f. 1 August 2024.

Allianz Malaysia may implement the full scope of e-Invoicing at a date earlier than the relevant mandatory date and will make the announcement in due course.

The laws and guidelines governing e-Invoicing are as per the e-Invoice Guideline and e-Invoice Specific Guideline issued by LHDN and subject to revision by LHDN from time to time.
